Vocaloid (ボーカロイド Bōkaroido?) is a singing synthesizer. Its signal processing part was developed through a joint research project led by Kenmochi Hideki at the Pompeu Fabra University in Spain in 2000 and originally was not intended to be a full commercial project. Backed by the Yamaha Corporation it developed the software into the commercial product "Vocaloid".The software enables users to synthesize singing by typing in lyrics and melody. It uses synthesizing technology with specially recorded vocals of voice actors or singers. To create a song, the user must input the melody and lyrics. A piano roll type interface is used to input the melody and the lyrics can be entered on each note. The software can change the stress of the pronunciations, add effects such as vibrato, or change the dynamics and tone of the voice. Each Vocaloid is sold as "a singer in a box" designed to act as a replacement for an actual singer. The software was originally only available in English and Japanese, but as of Vocaloid 3, Spanish, Chinese and Korean have been added.
The software is intended for professional musicians as well as light computer music users and has so far sold on the idea that the only limits are the users' own skills.Japanese musical groups Livetune of Victor Entertainment and Supercell of Sony Music Entertainment Japan have released their songs featuring Vocaloid as vocals. Japanese record label Exit Tunes of Quake Inc. also have released compilation albums featuring Vocaloids.Artists such as Mike Oldfield have also used Vocaloids within their work for back up singer vocals and sound samples.
Oh,I think it's very cool,I like it very much.

Star Trek ??

Star Trek is an American science fiction entertainment franchise created by Gene Roddenberry. The core of Star Trek is its six television series: The Original Series, The Animated Series, The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, Voyager, and Enterprise. The franchise also includes eleven feature films, dozens of games, hundreds of novels, numerous toy lines and replicas, as well as a themed attraction in Las Vegas (opened in 1998 and closed in September 2008) and at least two traveling museum exhibits of props. Beginning with the original television series and continuing with the subsequent films and series, the franchise has become a cult phenomenon, initiated the creation of the full-fledged language Klingon, and spawned many pop culture references.
The original Star Trek followed the interstellar adventures of James T. Kirk and the crew of an exploration vessel of a 23rd century galactic "United Federation of Planets"—the Starship Enterprise. This series debuted in 1966 and ran for three seasons on NBC, after the network rejected an initial pilot film "The Cage" with a mostly different cast, though this pilot is now routinely packaged with the original series. Following the release of other series in the franchise, the Kirk-led series was retroactively referred to as "Star Trek: The Original Series". These adventures were continued by the short-lived Star Trek: The Animated Series and six feature films. Four more television series were eventually produced, based in the same universe but following other characters: Star Trek: The Next Generation, following the crew of a new Starship Enterprise set a century after the original series; Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Star Trek: Voyager, set contemporaneously with The Next Generation; and Star Trek: Enterprise, set before the original series, in the early days of human interstellar travel. Four additional feature films were produced, following the crew of The Next Generation, and, most recently, a 2009 movie reboot of the franchise featuring a young crew of the original Enterprise set in an alternate timeline.
The original Star Trek series began production under Desilu Productions. With the merger of Desilu into Paramount Pictures, that studio assumed outright ownership of the Star Trek franchise. In 2006, rights transferred to CBS when it took Paramount's TV division as part of its split from Paramount owner Viacom. However, certain aspects such as feature film and DVD distribution rights still remain under the control of Paramount.

What is the best fabric to use for a cosplay costume?

Q:What is the best fabric to use for a cosplay costume?

I'm going to be cosplay as Meiko from Vocaloid soon. Unfortunatly, the only Meko costume I could find comes from China and is WAY over my cosplay budget. So, I've got to make it. What's the best fabric to use for the costume?

A:
My friend -who cosplayed Meiko- made her cosplay out of 'Cloth Back Vinyl' -exactly what she said. Or you can use PVC Fabric. It's cheap.

It's really cheap, it's the right glossiness too.
It was really affective to!
For the Belt she used velcro and PVC/Vinyl again.
For the arm warmers .. she used normal armwarmers.
In fact ,I think you can buy a costume ,because it is too difficult to make a costume.I know  a online store which is professional costume store.you can try it ..http://cosplaysky.com/..

Harry Potter Party?

Q:Harry Potter?

I am doing a Harry Potter party thing with my library the day before and the day of Harry Potter 7 comes out. I just completed a scavenger hunt required for it and I'm at the final word which must be unscrambled using letters from other words I "scavenged". The scavenged words are all correct. The word (two words, rather) that must be unscrambled are "CAPUT DRACONIS". It is obvious something pertaining to Harry Potter, and I must assume all the letters can be moved around to anywhere. I would appreciate SERIOUS answers. Avid Potter fans, I need you now! (Ok that was corny but oh well)

A:
well if i understood correctly, what ur asking is for us to unscramble "caput draconis" into something else that will also make sense in a harry potter context. but i tried and its kinda impossible to use ALL the letters...
if u use some letters u can make loads of hp words like "patronus" or "accio"... is this what u were asking for?
for your own good and to make the most of the time/effort of all these harry potter fans who want to help you - i suggest u make ur question clearer.

In fact ,you also can buy a Harry Potter costume for youself, you can choose it from this website : http://cosplaysky.com/  ,which is professional company.
